Successful completion of 40 on 4 Training 2024 Cohort.

We had the joy of celebrating the incredible achievement of the 40 on 4 Class of 2024 as 62 dedicated evangelists graduated after months of intensive training and hands-on ministry experience.

Through the 40 on 4B training, these evangelists have been equipped with essential biblical knowledge, practical evangelism strategies on how to develop a Gospel movement in their cities and how to ensure they have sustainable community Transformation programs in their local churches. As they step out into their communities, churches, and mission fields, they carry a powerful mandate to proclaim the Gospel in season and out of season, extending God’s love to the ends of the earth.

Mr. Washington Odonda is one of African Enterprise (AE) Kenya’s longest-serving associates, his passion for the Great Commission is seen through his active participation in citywide missions, both locally and internationally. His dedication is equally evident in his local church, where he consistently mobilizes missioners to join AE’s broader evangelistic efforts during citywide missions.

This year, Mr. Odonda took a significant step to enhance his knowledge by joining the 40 on 4B class. Reflecting on his journey, he shared: “I have been with African Enterprise for many years, and their vision and mission deeply resonate with me. That is why I am active in the Great Commission both with AE and in my local church as well”. He was unable to join the first 40 on 4 class in 2023 due to some commitments. However, the testimonies from the first cohort, prompt him to plan and be part of the next class. “I have not been disappointed”. He says, “ Learning with these committed men and women of God has enabled me to take in more knowledge and offered me an opportunity to discuss some theologies I have encountered in my walk with Christ. I have found the teachings to be very rich and eye-opening.” He added.

He now feels that his approach on missions will be different. One topic that stood out for him was African traditional religions. “Coming from a community with deep-rooted practices and having experienced diverse cultures in the mission fields, I feel better equipped to share the gospel in settings where cultural traditions and practices are deeply ingrained. I believe I will be more effective without disrespecting their values and beliefs” He said.

Mr. Odonda is grateful to the AE Kenya team for walking with them through all four books. “They have done an excellent job, and I will be recommending this class to any evangelist who wishes to be better equipped for the mission field.” Mr. Odonda’s testimony highlights the transformative power of the 40 on 4B program and underscores the importance of equipping evangelists to navigate cultural contexts with sensitivity and respect. We celebrate his dedication to the Great Commission and his continuous pursuit of growth for the glory of God.
