Foxfire dome destroyed by heavy rainfall.
On the afternoon of November 14th, heavy rainfall accompanied by hail caused a storm that resulted in a tree falling on the Foxfire residence, destroying the structure.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, as the 2024 Foxfire team graduated in August. This residence has been home to the Foxfires since 2003 and has served over 200 young people. Fondly nicknamed “the Dome,” it has been a place where young individuals found rest, learning, and ministry, and where encouragement was shared.
It has served as a hub of fellowship and holds countless cherished memories for the many young people who have participated in the Foxfire program. From this ‘Dome,’ we have seen leaders emerge, including politicians who have influenced the political landscape, ministry leaders excelling in their various roles, marketplace leaders, creative’s thriving in their pursuits, and many more.
We are expecting the 2025 cohort on February 1st. In light of these recent events, we appeal to well-wishers to help us restore our Dome to its former glory, providing shelter for the next cohort.
