Construction Underway for Maternity Wing.

The community of Soweto is eagerly looking forward to the completion of the Soweto Health Clinic. It is seen as a beacon of hope for pregnant women who have endured the burden of traveling long distances to access maternity healthcare, often at a significant financial cost that many of them cannot afford.

“I have been working as a community health worker for the past seven years. I have been a resident of Soweto for 28 years. The clinic is my primary healthcare facility, where I have assisted numerous expectant women. I am looking forward to the construction of the maternity ward because it would help to reduce infant mortality,” said Hezron Ngesa, a community health worker at Soweto Clinic in Nairobi.
