AEE Kenya Management Team Visits Nakuru Pastors to Express Appreciation.

The African Evangelistic Enterprise Kenya – AEEK management team, led by Missions Director Bishop Stephen Vengi, recently visited Nakuru city to express their deep appreciation to the city’s pastors. The team attended the city father’s meeting as well as the Nakuru Pastors Fellowship’s “Testimony Tuesday,” a gathering that brought together spiritual leaders from various local churches.

The purpose of AEEK’s visit was to acknowledge the pastors’ unwavering support during the recent Nakuru City-Wide Mission. Local churches in Nakuru were pivotal, not only in hosting 658 missioners but also in planning diverse mission activities within their congregations.

“Every time I stand on this pulpit, I learn something new,” Bishop Stephen Vengi shared with the assembled pastors. “All the Tuesdays I have been joining you, you have taught me something new.” He further highlighted a unique aspect of their collaboration: “We learned that in Nakuru, we had a new challenge: we had more hosts than the workers.” This observation underscored the exceptional hospitality and readiness of Nakuru’s Christian community.

The collaborative efforts between AEEK and the Nakuru churches yielded significant fruit. The mission successfully reached 238,511 people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and joyfully, 14,222 individuals made life-changing decisions to follow Jesus Christ. This remarkable outcome stands as a powerful testament to the unity and dedication of all involved.

The city Fathers meeting included Apostle William Kimani, Bishop Gitau, Apostle Sammy Ngao and Pastor Alex Maina. We were glad to hear some of the ongoing plans that the Church in Nakuru is putting in place for the discipleship program.

We were privileged to talk to Pastor Alex Maina, Senior Pastor at the walk church who shared with us that he was able to get through to 30 individuals who gave their lives to Jesus Christ during the Nakuru city wide mission. He shared, “I have 30 new believers from the mission who will be starting their new converts class next week.”. He said.

Elsewhere, Pastor Hezron Odundo, Victorious Prayer assembly, Njoro Kisima (Diary), expressed profound gratitude for the recent mission’s impact, attributing the success to divine intervention. His remarks came as he reflected on hosting missioners from May 15th to 25th.

“I am here to thank God for what He did,” Pastor Odundo shared. “In this area of Njoro, the missioners reached out to 1,700 people, and 339 gave their lives to Jesus Christ.”

He highlighted the tangible results of their follow-up efforts. “We have been doing follow-up, and I can say that in my church specifically, we have 20 new believers that we have been able to follow up since then. I have seen an increase in my church.”

Pastor Odundo concluded by extending his blessings to the African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE) team. “I want to bless the Lord for the AEE team, and I pray that the Lord will continue with this good work even in other places that these missioners will be going. May God bless you and do you good. Thank you.”
