Wanjiku, transforms her community.

Wanjiku a trained social worker with a heart for her community is a university graduate who seeks to bring transformation in the life of her fellow youth at Kuwinda a small slum in Karen. She has partnered with a community-based organisation to help her reach out to these young people who are battling with drugs and substances.

AEE Kenya missioners at Nairobi Chapel Karen church, one of the mission base, ran into her and shared the good news. The truth that Christ is the source of holistic transformation, quickened her unto belief. She understood that goodwill was not enough to count her as a child of God, this allowed her to be receptive to the power of the gospel. She seeks to apply Christ’s principles in her efforts to transform the youth in her community. She believes that Kuwinda can be freed from drugs and substance abuse by the transformative power of God’s Word.
